We've had months of careful preparation and continuous development on our BMW 135i project car, not to mention the blood, sweat, and tears (literally!)... and we've finally reaped the rewards our dedicated crew deserves!

With our awesome driver, VJ Mirzanian, at the wheel, and new sponsorship from Hankook Tires and Velocity Motor Cars, our twin-turbo BMW set a scintillating time of 1:29.326 during the Circuit Battle on Saturday night and smashed the previous track record for Street Class RWD by more than 3 seconds! We now own this track record.

VJ also laid down a smoking time of 1:29.331 during the Competition session on Sunday, which ensured us Street Class RWD victory. VJ's time also made us the fastest Street Class car of the day - beating even the AWD competitors.

Among a number of changes to aerodynamics and suspension, the 135i was using new Hankook Ventus RS-3 tires for the first time. The RS-3 is Hankook's Extreme Performance Summer DOT-legal tire... and VJ loved them! Velocity Motor Cars provided us with all the rear suspension arms which helped the 135i's stability and helped give us a competitive edge.

During Saturday's Circuit Battle, ER went head-to-head with Berk Technology's 135i. These two cars have similar engine and chassis modifications and are even using the same tires. However, the ER 135i was unstoppable this weekend, beating the Berk Technology 135i by almost 1 second, with an advantage of more than 2 seconds for the two combined hot laps.

After making more adjustments on Sunday morning, the car continued to run strong in the Competition Rounds. We set our fastest lap of the day at 2 pm, despite the high temps.
