Contact any authorized dealer for more details!!! We debut our new 2008 BMW 135i at the Super Lap Battle (Time Attack) at Willow Springs Raceway! Unfortunately, we were plagued with issues with the OEM equipment. The car's electronics was fighting us the whole way and throughout the 2 day event, we were unable to put down a full lap under full power. However, even with these issues, the car performed beautifully. We're confident that the car now has enough straight line acceleration and cornering speed to be competitive and win events. After the 2 day event, our BMW 135i placed 2nd in Street Class RWD and 3rd Overall Street Class and qualify for the Super Lap Battle Finals @ Buttonwillow in November!
We just spent 2 days testing our 135i at Buttonwillow Raceway with KW Suspension and RobiSpec. These 2 days of testing has been very productive as we've discovered many improvements that need to be made to the car. Many of these improvements (if not all) will definitely be new products in the future for your BMW 135i! We're very excited with the results of the 2 days of testing. VJ Mirzayan (Turner Motorsports' Touring Car Driver) graciously came out to test drive our car. By the end of the first day, our OEM tires were trashed. We're confident with fresh tires, brakes and our basic bolt ons parts, we can definitely be competitive competing in Redline Time Attack Street Class. We're very excited here at ER. We've just took delivery on our new 2008 BMW 135i. Alpine white, 6 speed, inline 6 twin turbo, 300hp, 6 piston front brembo brakes/2 piston rear brakes, STOCK! We like to thank our friends at South Bay BMW for helping us acquire the car.
We're currently breaking in the motor. Stay tuned for baseline dyno numbers. This car will be used for our in house R&D of our new product line-up for the BMW 135i. Keep an eye out for new products in the up coming months! We will be building this car for various competition including Time Attack. Check out ER 135i for updates to our race car.
